Commercial auditions should be fun, not dread-worthy.

Take the second guessing out of your auditions with an objective eye who loves and knows commercials.

Sometimes you just need an another set of eyes, someone to direct your lines to, someone to bounce choices off of, and someone who knows commercial copy really well and can tell you what they’re looking for. If you want to improve your self-tapes, I can help you deliver your best takes and edit them together.

I’ve developed an approach that works and tailor it to how you like to work. Here are some common obstacles that I can help with:

  1. YOU NEED MULTIPLE TAKES, but are stumped and only have ideas for two.

  2. YOU DO A MILLION TAKES and don’t know which ones to send.

  3. TOO MANY ACTIONS IN A CRAMPED SPACE. You have to pretend you’re briskly walking through an office, pouring a coffee, and signing papers, all while delivering lines. (A real audition that I did and booked.)

  4. SELF-CONSCIOUS EATER. You’re so worried about doing it “right” and in frame that you subconsciously glance at the camera and ruin takes. Or you worry that you look dumb or unnatural eating an Egg McMuffin.

  5. CREATING THE STORY WITH ONLY ONE ACTION. You don’t know how to express the tone and story of the commercial they’re looking for when all they tell you to do is, “put on a jacket.” You have difficulty creating a beginning, middle and end while selling a product with just one action.

I’ve booked numerous commercials from small new media ads to US nationals. Here are some of the larger brands I’ve represented, sometimes more than once.
